As a year-round facility, Copper Cannon Camp is available to rent for a variety of exciting programs or perhaps just accommodation and meeting space. Copper Cannon has hosted elementary and high school groups, recreation programs, church groups, drama societies, birthday parties, family reunions and winter snow-shoe parties.
Outdoor Education Programs
Copper Cannon's location bordering the White Mountains National Forest is the perfect backdrop for teaching students about conservation, local ecology and stewardship of the environment. We recognize that curricular activities, when balanced with recreational activities, further accuentuate the learning process. Our programming is flexible and can be adapted to meet state curriculum guidelines at any grade.
Team Building
Designed to help promote group unity, communication and trust, our ropes courses are the ideal setting to enhance self-esteem and build confidence. Our state of the art Low and High Ropes Courses enable participants to grow both at team and individual levels, exploring risk, leadership, problem-solving and coaching.
Low RopesThese elements focus on collaboration. The challenges call upon every member of the team to participate, and they present endless opportunities for self-discovery and team growth.
High RopesThe High Ropes Course emphasizes risk-taking, trust and coaching. The challenges allow participants to expand their comfort zones and recognize fears that may block personal achievement. Each moment is rich with discoveries, whether a person is climbing, supporting 'on belay', or finding an effective way to encourage a team mate.
